The Actia paper rolls are approved for, and compatible with the three brands of digital tachographs on the market :

Tachograph paper must answer to very strict constraints defined by European Regulation Authorities. That’s why the Actia universal paper is approved and certified by the "Bureau de la Métrologie" from French Ministry of Transports and Industry.

Actia chooses to develop and to position a paper able to target the accessible cost for consumers: a global strategy coherent from tachographs to consumables.

Our paper is supplied by an internationally recognized manufacturer who distributes many types of high quality paper world-wide.

Technically, the Actia thermal paper is manufactured by an innovative process superposing paper layers, including a chemical protection against aggressive agents, at the same time. This optimized process is really economical,efficient and offers the best contrast level (black colour of printouts) as the thermal reactive coat is directly accessible by the printer.

Actia did not decide to use added plasticized protection: this technology is not required for tachographs and adds costs due to added manufacturing operations. What is more, it doesn’t ensure an optimized contrast quality.

Actia’s paper fully responds to legal regulations requirements. As paper used in toll motorways, it is tested to resist to possible extreme environmental constraints such as :

• Temperatures from -40°C to +90°C for storage, and from -20°C to +70°C in operation
• Humidity range from 10% to 90%
• Light : may be stored at least during 5 years in its packaging or 2 years in a tachograph before being used, and maintains a good contrast against heat and daily exposure
• Resistance to aggressive agents available on board the vehicle such as water, oil, petrol, fat, vinegar, butter, coffee, coca-cola...
• It can also receive hand-written notes as required.

Printouts are 10 years warranted in normal storage conditions.

Of course, the Actia universal paper respects recycling rules defined in NF XP R 10-402.

It respects the environment with its economical process manufacturing and its cardboard packaging.

Don’t forget that you have to keep paper rolls available in the vehicle to avoid fines.
