Recording and printing the driver’s and assistant’s activity, Advanced functions and driving aids
From April 11th, 2007, the 561/2006/CE regulation is applicable, and it has changed how the driver’s breaks are computed. The ACTIA SmarTach® includes a function to keep the driver informed about their driving status with respect to the new regulation.
With the SmarTach activity reminder, the driver is alerted to manipulate his tachograph when the vehicle is switched on/off. The SmarTach also allows to configure an automatic default activity upon vehicle switch-on/off. This relieves the driver from tachograph manipulation at the end of the day.
To alert the driver before overspeed infringement being recorded
Select the “out of scope” mode when the vehicle is in use for non-professional activities, such as maintenance Updating Smartach also provides a software reprogramming option! This function makes Smartach a future-proof tachograph. Changes in regulations, driving aids, etc., updates enable the benefit of the latest Actia functionalities and innovations available, without replacing the tachograph and without altering the data it holds. They are performed by approved centres and only take a few minutes. Remote downloads Combined with a data transmission system, this function enables the company to retrieve, process and store data from the vehicle and driver without the vehicle going to the centre and without the driver’s participation. The “Business” card remains with the transporter, connected to the PC which remotely interrogates the on-board Smartach. It authenticates the card and sends data via GPRS (general packet radio service).[...Download the product leaflet...] |
