ACTIA demonstrates tachograph Remote Downloading |

ACTIA continues to develop useful functions for Tachograph users, and at the IAA trade show in September, ACTIA could demonstrate how to download data from a Tachograph over GPRS mobile phone link to a server that stores the legal archives.
The demonstration showed how this new function makes life easier for fleet managers: the truck can be on the road, and there is no need for driver involvement to retrieve the tachograph and driver card data.
With the "Remote Download" function, tachograph data is regularly downloaded over the air by a server, and stored for later analysis as required.
ACTIA is delighted to be innovator of new and useful functions for Tachograph users, and the Remote Download function is yet another result of that objective.
