Control and calibration station

etalonnage.jpgACTIA®Muller’s certified Tachograph Control and Calibration Station is a robust and reliable solution made up of a mechanical test bed, with a control panel and portable terminal (UTP-10) to program and control tachographs:

• Program and consult calibration parameters
• Execute “speed” and “1000m” tests in the workshop
• Measure W and K parameters

The station requires a flat area where a 90 degree « L » turn can be made with the vehicle to ensure a complete revolution of the wheel. By this method, the real wheel revolution length can be measured, and correction factors can be eliminated to ensure maximum precision of the calibration.

For “speed” and “1000m” tests, a chassis with four synchronized rolls is used to ensure identical movements on both wheels on the axis. The measurements are made with adjustable photocells on each side of the chassis and reflective stickers applied to the tyres.

The chassis and measurements are operated from the control panel, which also connects to the UTP-10 for data exchange
The Tachograph Control and Calibration Station, with the UTP 10 portable terminal, is certified to test and calibrate ALL tachograph brands on the market.
