The D-Box is a portable device compatible with all tachographs. With its 6-pin serial interface, it is capable to download data from both vehicle units and smartcards. It is a versatile smartcard reader : autonomous and handheld, or connected to a PC as a peripheral, or connected to the tachograph as a control unit. It features both USB and RS232 interfaces to connect directly to PCs as well as to terminals.
Available in all languages and widely used in countries involved in tachographs, D-Box is the downloading tool designed to answer any request from fleets’managers, workshops or inforcements.
Compatible with marketed archiving softwares, D-Box is ideally related to Actia softwares : solutions for legal archiving and exploitation of tachographs and cards data, for companies and workshops.

D-Box Control
The “D-Box Control” does more than downloading; it allows fast and reliable control of driver card data. It gives quick access to summaries of the key data, and checks for breaches of EU regulations on work hours and driving hours.
D-Box computes a direct access to totals of different items such as driving time, breaks and rest…). Of course, D-Box Control is compatible with 561/2006 regulation about rest times. 

The control process becomes very fast thanks to the ease of use of the “D-Box Control”: if no breaches are detected, a “Control OK” message is displayed after only a couple of seconds. Otherwise, a list of detected breaches is displayed.
The “D-Box Control” was developed for control officers, and can also be useful for fleet managers who want to make sure that his fleet operates within the regulations.
